Thanks you so much - we had a wonderful stay! Your staff even allowed us very early and the room was clean and with lots of extra blankets and all other things. The view from the deck is amazing. Hot tub and pool was clean and wonderful.

Second stay, but this time needed ADA room for mom, and another 2 rooms. Staff (Kenna) picked out the perfect rooms. I was right next door to mom in an adjoining room. We were all very comfortable. Always very clean, and nice amenities in rooms. Exceptional value. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Isaac and Patty.

We spent the night here and really had a great experience. We filled our hot tub and enjoyed sitting on it while having some wine. It was a nice experience. The only negative was the breakfast as the pre made eggs were really not that good. We loved staying at the Inn.

We are locals and wanted a getaway with a hot tub near RMNP. Rates were quite reasonable since it is the off season. We got the Standard King aka the Petite King with the jetted in room tub. It was perfect for us with a king bed, great pillows, the instant on gas fireplace and of course the 2 person in roon spa tub we wanted for some romance as a senior couple. Some reviews criticize the basement rooms because they dont offer a view of the mountains. We are spoiled living an hour away and seeing the mountains and RMNP anytime we want. We wanted an excuse to checkout the Stanley Hotel and the town of Estes Park and have a relaxing romantic soak while we spend the night. We will be back. The room was clean, beautiful and in a great location. It looks like we will have to settle for a weeknight in the peak season, because rooms are already sold out. I can see why!

We stayed here for three nights, and we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again. The staff was kind, welcoming, and professional. The rooms are impeccably clean, and indoor pool and hot tub are a welcome respite after hiking all day. It’s located out of the downtown craziness, which is nice. There were only two small drawbacks. The bathrooms are in need of an update. Also, we stayed in Building A, Room 3. It was nice and big, but it was basically on the highway. So you just hear and see cars going by all the time, which renders the private outdoor space useless or at the very least unpleasant. The other buildings were more set back, and may not have that issue. TLDR: The rooms are large and clean and well cared for, and the location overall makes it easily accessible and convenient but doesn’t quite feel like a retreat into the woods.

Conveniently located. Exquisitely clean. The in-room fireplace and jetted tub (including complementary bath salts) was heavenly. Breakfast was comprehensive with many choices including cereal, hard boiled eggs, pre-made waffles, yogurt, etc. The evening make-your-own s'mores were quite enjoyable and unique. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. What didn't I like about the property? The stairs leading to the reception and breakfast area were irregular and the ground uneven. I can easily imagine someone losing their footing and getting injured.

Recommend The Appenzell Inn. Had a lovely, romantic vacation in the Suite Heart Studio Loft. The views are breathtakingly beautiful and the room is romantic with the fireplace and heart shaped jetted bathtub. Love the kitchenette and they provided everything I needed to make gourmet meals with hot plates and portable burners. WiFi was great and enjoyed the tv with dvd player. This is our new spot and we will return for more good times. We checked out the huge condo and planning a trip for the family. We will come back alone and enjoy the Suite Heart Studio Loft because it was like a second honeymoon for us and we need that special time, just for us. Recommend to family and friends. They have plenty of fun activities on site: pool, hot tub, dvd rental, corn hole, yard games, fire pits, s’mores and more. Sweet breakfast, nightly s’mores, popcorn, 24 hour snacks with coffee and great teas. Love the staff and everyone was happy and helpful. Estes Park is my favorite mountain town because of the amazing atmosphere. People are great and the activities are awesome. So many fun things to do from golf, go carts, bowling, horseback riding, movies, hiking, jeep tours, climbing, The Stanley Hotel and so much more. Dining selection is great because you can be budget friendly or drop some cash with over the top foodies grub. Known for brew pubs, fresh taffy pulling and ice cream shops. Many picnic locations for romantic occasions and family gatherings. Love the shopping and variety of options. Obviously we had a romantic getaway but this place is family friendly and welcome to all. Bring great walking shoes and sunglasses because this fresh air is good for your heart and soul. Choose happiness when you wake up and you will receive it in abundance. Xoxo

We're local to Loveland, and we've stayed here before and have enjoyed both our stays. We love fireplace and hot tub especially after a long cold walk around the lake. We had complimentary s'mores one night on our last stay, but you can always grab a dvd or board game and head back to your room if you prefer. With winter weather here, it probably wouldn't hurt to be prepared w other media that either runs off wifi, in case the satellite goes out. I love some of the simpler things too, like being able to open windows if I want (bldg A). Location is a 3min drive down the hill to Downtown Estes and the walking path around the lake. The kitchenette space is also great; it comes fully stocked w pots, pans, plates, one burner plug in, small appliances, silverware, can/bottle openers, corkscrew, dishwasher, microwave, mini fridge and freezer. It really is a great place to glamp and our retreat from home. Tip: we usually do a small and simple grocery shop before heading up into the mountains.
